Bi-Levels all the Rage in Park East!

I live in the Park East neighborhood in Boulder. It’s a great neighborhood, on the bike path, nice big park across the way, lots of dogs, and families and of course….Bi-Levels! Like this one on the left that has been on the  market for over 9 months. Interestingly, it sold just a couple of years ago for $465,000 and it’s been sitting there priced at $455,000 for many months but just a week or so ago…It Went Under Contract!

Like this one on the right, which, as you can see is….another Bi-Level. In case you aren’t familiar with Bi-Levels they’re the house you enter to a split stairway and decide…do I go up or do I go down? They’re not for indecisive people. This one has been on the market for about 8 months and….It Just Went Under Contract.

This one on the left here, another version of a Bi-level, has been sitting around for 5 months and it too….Just Went Under Contract. Again, like the others, no price reduction, just somebody stepped up and wanted to buy.

And one more piece of anecdotal evidence….my neighbors Bi-Level, which he has been trying to sell himself for over a Year….Just Went Under Contract. That’s 4 Bi-Levels in 2 weeks that have been sitting around collecting dust for months.

Conclusion – Bi-Levels are Hot!  Or….could the market be shifting….???
